So I mentioned the time I played Left 4 Dead 2 and doomed us all by stopping to help a down buddy, and the same situation happened again in a recent game with some friends. Basically, the escape vehicle that ends the level and allows you to survive was right there, I had very little health left (to the point that my screen was going black and white ( Read more... )

So I think I've mentioned that a friend of mine gave me Left 4 Dead 2 over the holidays, so I've racked up some experience playing since then. Looks like I have all my stuff back to where I was before the crash, and I even found a lossless codec. Now I'm just struggling with the audio, but I found a way to record them simultaneously in the same file since patching them together later is a pain. Doing it simultaneously is a bit complicated, but it does work. The only catch is I can hear ( Read more... )

I think this is pretty self-explanatory even if you know nothing about Mass Effect, but what makes this even funnier is that during the game you overhear a news story about the Hanar Anti-Defamation League taking issue with the movie since "jellyfish" is considered a slur.

Just found out that in Mass Effect 2 there's a planet where a bunch of krogan warlords met for a meeting and simultaneously betrayed each other, leaving them stranded with no escape, so all they could do was continue to kill each other until they were all dead.

This is what I get for playing Mass Effect 2 and then going out to do laundry with Lady Gaga on my Mp3 player. I just couldn't get the idea out of my head, maybe because I realized that the beats synced up.
